Scalping Micro Level

For scalping, you need to catch the exact moment smaller TF momentum starts — not after it’s obvious. Here are the highest-value additions:

The 3 signals that catch momentum early

1. Tick Velocity at First Touch The first 3–5 seconds at a C2 level tell you everything. If volume rate in the first 5 seconds is already 2× the benchmark — that’s institutional, not retail. Retail builds slowly. Smart money hits fast and hard. A “5-second rate” comparison vs the candle average would catch entries before T2 even forms.

2. Candle Momentum Bias (CMB) Before price even reaches the C2 level, the current candle’s close position (CPR) + body direction tells you which way momentum is pointing. CPR > 65% + body growing = bull momentum carrying into the level. Add this as a live “momentum arrow” — ▲▲ ▼▼ — updated every tick.

3. Rate Acceleration Curve Right now the dashboard shows current rate. What it doesn’t show is whether that rate is still accelerating or already peaked. Peak rate timing matters enormously for scalping — if rate peaked 8 seconds ago and is now at 60% of peak, the move is exhausting. Show → ACCEL vs → PEAK vs → DECAY.

Additional scalping-specific suggestions

4. Micro-SOR (Speed of Return within a candle) When price leaves and comes back within 30 seconds — that’s a micro-SOR. On a 1m chart, this is the scalping entry signal. The current SOR measures % of candle elapsed, but a seconds-based version would fire in real time.

5. Volume Absorption Meter Plot how much of the C2 candle’s volume has been “consumed” at the level as a live filling bar. When it crosses 25%, the level is being genuinely tested. When it crosses 50%, it’s a major test. This is already partially in the dashboard but could be shown more prominently.

6. Cross-TF Momentum Stack If 3m and 5m are both showing bull momentum AND price is above both their C2 levels — stack indicator shows ▲▲ (both bullish). This is a quick 1-second read. Add it to Row 1 of the dashboard.

Pick whichever combinations make sense for your setup and I’ll build them directly into the dashboard. A few notes to help decide:

If you’re scalping on a 1m chart — Tick velocity + Rate acceleration are the two most impactful. They fire within the first 5–10 seconds of a touch, well before T2 can form.

If you’re scalping on a 3m chart — Cross-TF momentum stack + Candle momentum bias give you the higher-TF confirmation you need before entering on the smaller TF signal.

Micro-SOR is useful on any timeframe but especially on 1m — when price leaves a level and comes back within 15–20 seconds, that’s a very high-probability second entry.

All 5 together would give the most complete picture but also add complexity. Start with 2–3 and see how readable it stays.

✅ Concept

When price hits your C2 level, watch first 3–5 seconds volume speed.

📊 Example

  • Average 1-min volume = 10,000
  • Normal 5-sec pace = ~800 shares
  • At C2 touch → 2,500 shares in 5 sec

👉 That’s 3× speed instantly

🔥 Interpretation

  • Retail = slow build (200 → 400 → 800…)
  • Smart money = instant burst

🎯 Trade

  • Enter immediately on first push
  • Don’t wait for candle close

❌ Avoid

  • If volume builds slowly → fake breakout

🔹 2. Candle Momentum Bias (CMB)

✅ Concept

Before price even touches level, candle tells direction.

📊 Example (Bullish)

  • Candle High = 100
  • Candle Low = 95
  • Current Price = 99

👉 CPR = (99 − 95) / (100 − 95) = 80%

  • Body expanding

🔥 Interpretation

  • Buyers already in control
  • Momentum will likely continue into level

🎯 Trade

  • Prepare entry before level touch
  • Combine with velocity → high probability

❌ Avoid

  • CPR < 50% → weak momentum
  • Small body → indecision

🔹 3. Rate Acceleration Curve (Most ignored edge)

✅ Concept

Not just volume… is it increasing or dying?

📊 Example

  • 0–5 sec → 2000 volume
  • 5–10 sec → 2500 volume ✅ (ACCEL)
  • 10–15 sec → 1500 ❌ (DECAY)

🔥 Interpretation

  • ACCEL → strong continuation
  • PEAK → caution
  • DECAY → move ending

🎯 Trade

  • Enter only during ACCEL phase
  • Avoid chasing after peak

🔹 4. Micro-SOR (Second Entry Gold Signal)

6

✅ Concept

Price touches level → leaves → comes back quickly (15–30 sec)

📊 Example

  • Price hits 100 → drops to 99.6
  • Within 20 sec → back to 100

🔥 Interpretation

  • First move = liquidity grab
  • Second move = real move

🎯 Trade

  • Enter on second touch
  • Much safer than first breakout

🔹 5. Volume Absorption Meter

9

✅ Concept

How much volume is getting absorbed at level

📊 Example

  • C2 candle total volume = 20,000
  • At level:
    • 5,000 → 25% (test started)
    • 10,000 → 50% (serious battle)

🔥 Interpretation

  • High absorption = strong level
  • Break after absorption = explosive move

🎯 Trade

  • Best entry = after absorption + breakout

🔹 6. Cross-TF Momentum Stack (Quick filter)

6

✅ Concept

Align multiple timeframes

📊 Example

  • 1m → bullish
  • 3m → bullish
  • 5m → bullish

👉 Stack = ▲▲▲

🔥 Interpretation

  • Strong trend → high probability continuation

🎯 Trade

  • Only take trades in stack direction

🧠 How to Combine (REAL scalping setup)

🔥 Best 1-Min Setup (High Accuracy)

  1. CMB bullish (CPR > 65%)
  2. Price hits C2
  3. Tick velocity = 2× in first 5 sec
  4. Rate = accelerating

👉 ENTRY immediately

🔥 Safer Setup (Lower risk)

  1. First touch fails
  2. Micro-SOR happens
  3. Second touch + velocity spike

👉 ENTRY on second touch

❌ When NOT to trade

  • Velocity slow
  • Rate already decaying
  • No higher TF alignment

⚡ Final Truth (Important)

Most traders lose because:

  • They enter on candle close
  • You should enter on first 5–10 seconds behavior

👉 This is the difference between:

  • Scalper mindset (early)
    vs
  • Retail mindset (late)

If you want, I can now:
✅ Convert this into Amibroker AFL logic (real-time dashboard)
✅ Add labels like ACCEL / PEAK / DECAY on chart
✅ Build your Tick Velocity + Micro-SOR scanner
